Dale Sheppard-Quick Fit Owner Dale Sheppard the owner of
Quick Fit was a personal fitness trainer for the largest national
chain of health clubs for 12 years before deciding to open a
facility of his own in Dec '06. During that time he worked part
time while obtaining a Dietetic degree and an Exercise Science
(Athletic Training) degree. After graduating in 2001 from the
University of Toledo he started working full time as a fitness
trainer and took only three months to reach master level personal
trainer becoming the only one in Ohio and one of few in the
country. Also, Dale earned national recognition twice for being a
top twenty fitness trainer in the country out of approximately
three thousand fitness trainers and in 2009 was voted Best
Personal Trainer in the Toledo City paper’s “Best of Toledo”
contest. This experience along with being a former United States
Marine helped him to develop a fitness concept that he feels is
the most effective and efficient program available, helping Quick
Fit members and personal training clients attain maximum results
in minimum time.

Alex Gomez-Fitness Assistant/Instructor
Alex is a certified personal trainer through
the National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA). In
addition, Alex attended Stautzenberger College where he completed
a degree in Personal Fitness Training. He took an interest in
fitness because sports were a big part of his life growing up.
Wrestling from age 5 all the way through high school and playing
football from age 13-17 quickly helped him to realize the
positive impact being physically fit has on such demanding
sports. Along with working at Quick Fit Alex volunteers for
adolescent and high school wrestling programs to try to show the
participants the right path for being active and doing things the
healthy way. With the desire to help people in general along with
his knowledge and experience and the way fitness has impacted his
life and others, Alex feels this translates to a formula for
success for anyone seeking the services of a fitness trainer.

Dustin Supan-Fitness Assistant/Instructor
Dustin has a bachelor’s degree in Wellness and
Corporate Fitness from Defiance College. He participated in
Varsity Football in college where he started all four years, and
has participated in football, basketball and track since the age
of 10. Dustin chose to go into the health field because it has
been a major part of his life from being in sports for so long.
Sports and healthy living is very important to him and he wants to
help others stay in shape and live healthy lives. He is a very
motivational, friendly and outgoing person.

Denise McCallister-Fitness Assistant/Instructor
Denise has been a certified group exercise instructor for over 25
years. She was certified to personal train in 1998. Always
wanting to improve and expand her knowledge she became certified
by the IDEA association to teach nutrition in a classroom
setting. Denise preferred to counsel nutrition one on one so she
pursued her nutrition certification from NASM. During the
six years she worked for another facility she was also active
within the Perrysburg school system helping to educate the youth
about healthy eating and the importance of staying active. Since
then she has done some wellness coaching in a doctor’s office for
patients that were in need and was certified in 2007 as an
intrinsic coach doing corporate wellness coaching. She is very
excited to be working for Quick Fit as a Fitness Assistant.

Dayre
Carpenter-Fitness Assistant/Instructor Dayre
is a certified personal trainer through the American College of
Sports Medicine (ACSM). Being very active and involved in sports
growing up, the fitness field was a natural choice. After
watching two close family members pass away from diseases that are
curable/preventable by exercise, Dayre became certified through
ACSM. Working with the elderly population as a CCA she realized
the strong need for educating our senior population on exercise.
While volunteering at a Christian Fitness facility Dayre became
certified to teach Silver Sneakers, a course just for our senior
population. She has a strong desire to help people learn to
improve their health so they can obtain a better quality of life.

Russell Jackson-Fitness
Assistant/Instructor Russell is a native of Greensboro,
North Carolina. After graduating high school he joined the
military. He served five years active duty and is currently with
the US Navy reserves. After his five years of active duty he
became interested in physical fitness. He graduated from the
University of North Carolina at Charlotte, majoring in exercise
science (Athletic Training). Currently, he is working on his
Masters Degree in Exercise Science (Biomechanics Concentration) at
the University of Toledo. He plans to obtain a PhD in Biomechanics
at the University of Toledo. His fitness experience includes
being a command fitness leader with the Navy reserves and a
group-fitness/personal trainer at the Health and Wellness Center
in Charlotte, NC. |
